NSS

National Service Scheme (NSS) was introduced in 1969 with the primary objective of developing the personality and character of the student youth through voluntary community service. ‘Education through Service’ is the purpose of the NSS. The ideological orientation of the NSS is inspired by the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi.

Provide hands on experience to young students in delivering community service, thereby, enhancing the volunteers holistically in all spheres of development. It also motivates NSS Volunteers for continuing their selfless service towards community work.

GPS celebrated earth day on 18 April 2024 by organising a cleanliness drive CLEANOTHON). They clean the Amloh court complex and made the General public aware of the need of cleanliness around them.

GPS participated in the sweep competition organised by NSS unit of district Fatehgarh sahib at Mata Gujricollege. The NSS volunteers of the school participated in the activities like Art, Rangoli, Slogan writing. Mannat Jain stood first position in slogan writing and Manayaverma got the second position in painting.

School NSS unit organised Tree plantation day in the school campus. The school management committee and the students planted different kinds of tree and plants at various locations in the school itself.
