National Service Scheme (NSS) was introduced in 1969 with the primary objective of developing the personality and character of the student youth through voluntary community service. ‘Education through Service’ is the purpose of the NSS. The ideological orientation of the NSS is inspired by the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi.
Provide hands on experience to young students in delivering community service, thereby, enhancing the volunteers holistically in all spheres of development. It also motivates NSS Volunteers for continuing their selfless service towards community work.
GPS celebrated earth day on 18 April 2024 by organising a cleanliness drive CLEANOTHON). They clean the Amloh court complex and made the General public aware of the need of cleanliness around them.
